san diego....

...here we come, right back where we started from...

and so on.

all packed up and ready to go. i'm abso-fudding-lutely exhausted from banging out my first instalment of mystery project #1 (see below). still, i'm very happy with how it turned out. no official announcements, though, until at least the end of august.

i have a table in artist's alley again this year, last i heard it was table JJ-11. i think that's in the far corner up against a wall. you'll find it.

oh, and for the first time ever my wife is coming with me. may god have mercy on her soul.

here's a picture of a dragon...

Okay, the con is over. Now, it is time to post some more. Monkeys would be good, but failing that, con stories would suffice.

Please? You make me laugh, and laughter is a very good thing.

You probably don't remember me from the huge tide of people at the con! I was the black girl who stopped by your booth to get feedback on my graphic novel pages. I'm taking your advice about my inking. After looking at my notes from the con, everyone seems to think the inking is my weakspot!

Anyways, thanks much for all the great comments and encouragement. It's really true, Canadians are the nicest people!

And yes, please post more. :)

Saw your interview on Space TV on Sunday. Good to see some Canterbury talent in the world. Didn't Tim think that Comic art was real "art?"

thanks everyone for encouraging me to post more. believe me i've wanted to, but i've had no time... plus when you're working on three different projects you can't talk about, it kinda hard to talk about them...

deanne: more monkeys soon. and just for you i'll do the monkey dance the next time i see you.

frances: i totally remember you. i was delighted to meet you. i wouldn't call your inking a weakspot, you just need to have more confidence with it (and start using better materials). i'd love to see how your work developes.

canadians aren't in fact the nicest people. we have to be polite when we're abroad or else the government takes away our passports. up here i'm a huge asshole.

anonymous: did i give you wedgy in high school or vice versa? tim still does think it's art, i made damn sure of that...
