more mysterius activity...

jeff and i did an interview(?) over at cbr about the creative process (or at least our creative process, which is mostly paper-mâché and thumb wrestling). so if you're a fan of me babbling like an idiot (and i know you are) then swing on over.

here's some of the mysterius prep stuff we talk about...

Is there some sort of hidden meaning with the t-shirt of the monkey with the missile in its mouth?

Looking forward to the book.

It somehow entirely fails to surprise me that you've already drawn a naked Delfi.

Just sayin'.

Love the pencil studies. I wish I was able to convincingly get as much character down with the consistency from pose to pose.

I need more animation training in my diet. Or more Fowler.

=s=

Wow! You've been a busy guy. That'll teach me to get caught up in my personal drama and neglect my friends' blogs. I'll be buying myself some comics for my birthday in January. :)

chris: you haven't seen the books and books that i've devoted to naked mysterius...

shane: i don't know that animation training necessarily helps any. i produced some of the worst drawing of my life while i was working (however briefly) in animation. both in my professional and personal work.

to many short cuts and bad habits...

deanne: i glad to hear someone will be buying it.

aside from my mum of course.

By the way, I've syndicated you on LiveJournal (http://syndicated.livejournal.com/bigbugblarg/) so that I won't miss any future updates. S'alright?

Very much looking forward to getting this book my friend. Me and Michael were singing your praises when I visited the offices in October.
I thought he crossed the line when he said you had "tight buns" though...
