while i've been waiting for my new mystery gig to start up in earnest, i've had a bit of a chance to sit down and do some drawing/painting just for the sake of drawing/painting.
i was going to hold one of these back for a longer focused posting about orphaned jobs that can't be done now, but... who are we kidding?
enjoy...
some of =you= might like to note that the three of these were done on cartiera magnani's annigoni paper...
Hey now...that's pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteI'll be doing some playing here in a bit with the paper I have, I'll see what I can do to return the good vibe.
=s=
nice. i like the space skeleton a lot.
ReplyDeleteLove the newest pics... I like Boba Fett best though.
ReplyDeleteI also like cartiera magnani's annigoni paper !!
ReplyDeleteyour work is Epic, im a new fan !!
ReplyDeletethanks shane.
ReplyDeletethanks mr. jelter, but it's just a robot with bits of dude floating around in it. space skeleton sounds cool too though.
thanks jenn.
mr. grrd! how are you? monique and i very nearly visited quebec city last week when our trip to new york got canceled. ultimately though we settled on the far less expensive option of her home town in southern ontario.
thank you mr. el gato. every little bit helps.
everyone should follow mr. jelter's, mr. grrd's, and mr. el gato's profile links back to their very awesome blogs.
Awesome drawings! Good to do something constructive/artistic while you wait.:)
ReplyDeletethese are a treat! especially the second pic; strong pose and composition..and i'm always a sucker for a sinister shadow cast...
ReplyDeleteand we are loving MYSTERIUS over in the UK.
looking forward to whatEVER you do next!
I especially like the Boba Fett one, myself... :)
ReplyDeletethanks hannah. the waiting's over. the job was canceled. working on something else now.
ReplyDeletethanks shane. is mysterius just now coming out in the u.k.? the piece you liked was actually to have been the subject of that orphaned project post i was musing about. you may be happy to learn that i've more or less recycled it (the chief concepts at least) into two other books... i just have to do them now.
thanks alex. my dog walker is especially fond of it too (as it's on his wall).
... er, i mean your wall.
ReplyDeleteoops.
